Job description
About Cortoon Community Childcare
Located about 5 km from Tuam, Cortoon Community Childcare is a rural childcare center featuring a large outdoor play area next to the Community Hall. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate childcare practitioner who truly loves working with children. Positions available include full-time, part-time, and AIMS support roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the manager.
- Guide, observe, stimulate, and supervise children in a secure and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate stimulating activities that promote natural growth and development in children.
- Maintain all quality and safety standards within the service.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of FETAC Level 5 in Childcare.
- Preferably at least one year of relevant experience.
