Chartered Accountant - Statutory Audit

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead statutory audit engagements at our CA firm based in Mumbai Suburban. The role involves thorough review and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards (AS and Ind AS), the Companies Act, and audit regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute statutory audits with complete accountability.
• Review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable sections of the Companies Act and standards such as SA and CARO.
• Supervise and guide audit teams during audit projects.
• Handle client meetings and interactions independently and professionally.
• Complete audit assignments within stipulated timelines and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience specifically in statutory audits.
• In-depth knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS and Ind AS), Standards on Auditing (SA), CARO, and the Companies Act.
• Proven track record of independently managing client portfolios and audit engagements.
• Experience working within a CA firm environment is highly desirable.
