Role Overview
We are seeking a proficient Category Manager specializing in Japanese or other Asian food products (such as Thai, Korean, Vietnamese). The successful applicant will have significant experience in category management, sales, and business development within the food sector. They should demonstrate solid expertise in managing product categories and portfolios, along with effective sourcing and negotiation skills involving international vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to seize market opportunities and foster sustainable business growth.
- Manage and expand imported food brands within the UAE market, leveraging knowledge of the foodservice and HORECA sector.
- Engage in vendor sourcing and negotiations to optimize product offerings and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any business-related field is required.
- Experience in the Foodservice and HORECA segment will be highly advantageous.
