Job Overview

We are seeking conscientious and detail-focused individuals who take pride in maintaining tidiness and delivering outstanding guest service to join our housekeeping team. The role involves thorough cleaning of guest rooms, cooperating with team members to meet daily goals, and adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms are cleaned to high standards, including bed-making, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitization.
• Complete cleaning assignments efficiently during allocated hours.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve cleaning targets.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines during all tasks.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment and use cleaning agents safely, with training provided.
• Maintain professional relationships with guests, co-workers, and contractors to uphold a respectful work environment.

Shift and Compensation Details

• Rotating schedule across all days Monday through Sunday.
• Shifts start between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
• Hourly wage excluding superannuation: $33.38 Monday to Friday, $40.62 on Saturdays, and $47.39 on Sundays.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Basic knowledge of safe use of chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
• Clear and professional communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
