Role Overview

This position involves maintaining outdoor areas and carrying out fundamental landscaping duties, alongside general upkeep within residential homes, schools, and office environments. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, managing contractors, and helping maintain the Salisbury sites as hospitable and functional.

Working Hours

The role offers full-time employment with 37.5 hours per week, typically from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There are also part-time possibilities available with flexible scheduling options open for discussion.

Primary Duties

• Perform routine garden upkeep, minor repairs, painting, and various DIY jobs.
• Assist in conducting regular site inspections such as fire safety, lighting, and water system checks.
• Coordinate with external contractors ensuring safety and completion of tasks.
• Handle maintenance service requests via Microsoft Teams software.
• Contribute to site security by managing locking/unlocking procedures and responding to alarms as necessary.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is hands-on, methodical, dependable, and self-sufficient. Strong communication abilities and proficiency using Microsoft Teams and Office 365 are important. Travel between locations up to roughly 20 miles around Salisbury using a company van is required. Prior experience in caretaking, facilities management, or keyholding is advantageous.
