Overview
Aveanna Healthcare, a growing leader in home healthcare, is seeking a Care Experience Coordinator to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on managing caregiver scheduling and engagement to enhance patient care delivery.
Position Summary
The Care Experience Coordinator is responsible for ensuring excellent patient satisfaction and caregiver involvement by overseeing caregiver scheduling, case management, onboarding, payroll processing, and communication with caregivers and families to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain weekly caregiver schedules that meet patient care requirements while minimizing unstaffed shifts.
- Effectively communicate schedule adjustments with caregivers and families.
- Match caregivers to patients based on relevant skills and experience.
- Monitor Electronic Visit Verification data to ensure compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to fill patient staffing needs and improve fill rates.
- Work alongside branch leadership to expand weekly staffed hours through strategic scheduling.
- Lead initiatives to re-engage inactive caregivers and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure caregiver licensure and credential compliance, including re-credentialing processes.
- Serve as the main contact for families regarding staffing and care satisfaction, regularly checking in to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with clinical and leadership teams to handle safety and clinical concerns promptly.
- Manage payroll processing efficiently and maintain accurate workforce records including time-off and utilization.
- Support patient referrals and onboarding procedures.
- Comply with labor laws, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Participate in after-hours/on-call rotations and location-specific projects or audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- At least two years of experience in staffing, operations coordination, or customer service.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Comfortable participating in on-call rotation schedules.
- Preferred experience in healthcare staffing or home care settings; experience with recruiting systems a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous.
