Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Support & Strategic Projects Director within our Global HR Business Process Optimization team. This role focuses on leading high-impact HR transformation initiatives, optimizing global HR processes, and supporting the evolution of the organization's global operating model through strategic projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage with mid to senior HR stakeholders across various regions and peer groups to understand and address complex process matters.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, standardized solutions aligned with global HR strategies.
• Collaborate and align with regional and country HR teams to ensure smooth adoption of process enhancements and standardizations.
• Work closely with DHL HR Centers of Excellence and Business Process Optimization (BPO) extensions to drive stakeholder engagement and project success.
• Manage strategic HR transformation projects, overseeing scope, requirements, timelines, quality, and budget adherence, including large-scale system implementations and transitions.
• Develop and validate outsourcing strategies and Business Case Assessments, providing expert guidance for transitions to external providers.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, managing issues and applying corrective actions as needed.
• Continually identify, assess, and prioritize process improvements based on business requirements, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments.
• Significant program and project management experience leading extensive HR initiatives from conception through completion.
• A strong foundation in business and operational management.
• Track record of achieving quantifiable improvements in HR processes.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise HR information systems including HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Certifications such as PRINCE2, ITIL, or comparable practical experience in project or process management.
• International work experience is a plus but not mandatory.
