Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

Muzom Transportation, Inc. seeks a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to advance the strategic development and streamline the operations of our transportation and logistics services, focusing on flatbed and refrigerated trucking sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage SQL, R, Tableau, and other advanced analytics tools to handle extensive data sets from logistics sources, creating dashboards and reports for senior leadership.
• Perform detailed trend analyses and predictions to guide strategic initiatives and operational enhancements.
• Conduct financial modeling, cost-benefit evaluations, and budgeting focused on logistics strategies, particularly for flatbed and refrigerated transport.
• Recommend efficiency improvements and cost reduction measures grounded in comprehensive financial reviews.
• Optimize delivery routes and integrate AI-driven automation to heighten delivery performance and lower expenses, collaborating across departments.
• Design and deploy risk management frameworks to identify and mitigate operational risks, including scenario testing to ensure continued service reliability.
• Analyze Transportation Management Systems data and market trends to provide actionable insights for integrating new transport services and aligning with 2024-2025 strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields; Master's preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in data science, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Strong competence in financial modeling, logistics efficiency, and risk assessment.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills for clearly conveying complex data to senior teams.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL, R, Tableau, and similar analytical platforms.
• Proven experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and leading projects to success.
• Adaptability to evolving analytics methods and fast-changing environments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all data-related tasks.

Additional Details

• Working hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM; Sunday closed.
• Company locations include 5284 Patch Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 and 4255 Westbrook Dr, Unit 225B, Aurora, IL 60504.
• Salary range: $91,374 to $100,000 annually.
