Position and Location
This role is based in Dublin, Ireland, with a hybrid working model and includes relocation support. Candidates relocating will receive comprehensive assistance, including visa support, relocation consultation, help with paperwork and housing, as well as an orientation program upon arrival.
Role Summary
The Business Development Representative will focus on the South African market, spearheading growth initiatives by introducing Salesforce’s Customer 360 platform and Agentforce, their autonomous AI solution. This position plays a crucial role in generating pipeline opportunities through outbound prospecting and expanding within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business leads through outbound efforts.
- Engage decision-makers using cold calls, emails, and social media platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to strategize territory growth.
- Conduct detailed research on accounts to pinpoint challenges Salesforce solutions can address.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in both Afrikaans and English at a professional level is essential.
- Proven sales experience with demonstrated quota attainment in direct sales roles.
- Adept at thriving in dynamic, fast-paced, and target-oriented environments.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to articulate value propositions clearly.
- Experience in business development, sales, or client-facing positions, including internships and leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Value Selling.
- A consistent record of exceeding sales goals.
- Demonstrated alignment with core competencies relevant to business development.
