Business Development Representative

About the Role

This role is a unique opportunity to be the foundational hire at a rapidly growing manufacturing AI company. Unlike typical BDR positions where candidates follow an existing script, here you will be designing the playbook and building the outbound engine from the ground up. The company's flagship product saw a 75% growth in half a year through referrals alone, without outbound efforts or marketing spend. Now, the focus is on scaling that success through effective business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the outbound sales strategy and processes to generate qualified leads.
• Take ownership of closing responsibilities for the AI Estimation product within 6 to 12 months.
• Recruit, manage, and grow a team of two BDRs within the first year.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and the company's top sales closer for mentorship and guidance.
• Operate autonomously without micromanagement or call monitoring, driving results through your own initiative.

Compensation & Growth

• Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $105,000 to $110,000 annually.
