Role Overview
The company seeks a dynamic, early-career sales professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join their EMEA Business Development team. This role involves defining the outbound sales strategy, influencing product development, and driving revenue growth in the EMEA region.
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your primary responsibility is to identify and qualify new Mid-Market clients within EMEA, supporting sales pipeline growth and collaborating closely with the Account Executive team. This position promises significant internal growth opportunities and career advancement paths in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive expertise on Notion's platform and its competitors.
- Design and implement targeted outbound campaigns using tailored, multi-channel messaging specific to the market.
- Work in partnership with marketing to coordinate regional promotional initiatives.
- Apply established sales methods for effective prospecting in new accounts.
- Keep accurate and thorough CRM records.
- Contribute to developing sales playbooks and defining outbound strategies.
- Take ownership of pipeline creation techniques and strategic sales approaches.
- Develop product knowledge to prepare for advancement to an Account Executive role, including delivering personalized demonstrations suited to various buyer personas.
Required Skills and Experience
- Fluent in both English and German at a business communication level.
- Ability to excel in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Competitive mindset combined with a team-focused outlook.
- Prior work experience in Account Executive, Sales Development, or Business Development roles.
- Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills capable of crafting personalized customer narratives.
- A positive, coachable attitude with resilience in ambiguous situations.
Compensation
Notion offers highly competitive salary and equity packages tailored to factors including role complexity, location, and candidate expertise. The anticipated total on-target earnings for this position reach approximately €70,000 annually, encompassing base salary and incentives.
