Role Description
We are seeking a mid-senior level Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Dublin office. This role focuses on accelerating pipeline generation for Commercial and Enterprise segments through outbound prospecting, account research, and consultative engagements. Ideal candidates should have at least 9 months of experience in technology sales and the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders effectively. Experience with data, analytics, cloud, and infrastructure sales is advantageous.
The role requires close collaboration with Sales Directors to strategize and prioritize target accounts and to generate qualified leads through personalized multi-channel outreach including phone, email, LinkedIn, and video. Candidates will connect with data professionals, technical buyers, and executives at growth-oriented and enterprise organizations while utilizing modern sales and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and develop qualified sales pipelines through proactive outbound outreach to target accounts.
- Conduct detailed research on accounts, industries, and relevant personas to craft tailored messaging.
- Work alongside Sales Directors in developing account plans and prioritizing sales opportunities.
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video channels.
- Carry out discovery conversations to identify customer business challenges, technical needs, and initiatives.
- Engage with diverse roles including data, analytics, engineering, IT, RevOps, and senior executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact, activity, and opportunity information in Salesforce.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales leadership teams.
- Employ AI-enabled tools and sales platforms to enhance prospecting effectiveness and communication quality.
- Achieve and frequently surpass activity, meeting, and pipeline development goals.
Candidate Profile & Skills
- Minimum 9 months experience in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or technology sales development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to comprehend and convey technical concepts related to data, analytics, cloud computing, and AI infrastructure.
- Proficiency in outbound prospecting and managing engagement across complex account structures.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity and comfort with AI-driven tools such as ChatGPT and sales engagement platforms for enhanced productivity.
- Adaptable, coachable, curious, resilient, and motivated within a performance-driven sales team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to data, analytics, engineering, or IT teams.
- Knowledge of modern data stack technologies including Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, or cloud data warehouses.
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Gong.
- Previous tenure in fast-paced SaaS environments with proven success in pipeline generation.
