Job Overview
Budhaaditya Advisors Pvt Ltd seeks a proactive Business Development Executive focused on acquiring clients for investor relations and corporate communication offerings. The role involves engaging with listed, SME-listed, IPO-ready, and growing firms to deliver tailored investor engagement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target companies including listed, SME-listed, recent IPOs, and upcoming IPO candidates.
- Generate qualified leads via research, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Organize meetings with promoters, directors, CFOs, company secretaries, and senior leadership.
- Analyze company business models and investor communication needs.
- Pitch Stock Knocks’ IR, PR, video, presentation, and financial communication services effectively.
- Develop and submit customized proposals aligned with client demands.
- Manage end-to-end sales, from lead generation through negotiations to closing mandates.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent follow-ups.
- Build enduring relationships with corporate executives and promoters.
- Collaborate internally with research, content, presentation, video, and IR delivery teams during onboarding.
- Track all leads, meetings, proposals, and conversions diligently.
- Meet monthly and quarterly client and revenue goals.
- Participate in corporate events, investor conferences, and industry networking sessions.
- Travel as needed for face-to-face client interactions.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 to 6 years’ experience in B2B, corporate sales, business development, or financial services.
- Strong skills in communication, presentations, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Confidence engaging senior corporate leaders including promoters, CFOs, and directors.
- Ability to grasp company business models and convey the importance of professional investor relations services.
- Enthusiasm for capital markets, IPOs, listed companies, and corporate finance.
- Capable of independently handling the complete sales cycle.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and at ease with field sales.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings.
- Proficient in English and Hindi; Bengali language skills a plus.
- Preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
Preferred Background
- Experience in investor relations, merchant or investment banking, stockbroking, credit rating, financial media, wealth management, corporate advisory, PR, or IPO-related services.
- MBA in Marketing or Finance, or qualifications like CFA, CA, or CS preferred.
- Existing networks connecting to promoters, CFOs, company secretaries, merchant bankers, or listed companies highly regarded.
Salary
The monthly compensation for this role ranges from INR 20,000 to 80,000.
