Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in Payments to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of both international and domestic interbank payment processes and standards, and will be skilled in bridging business requirements with product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, including bank staff and teams, to gather and analyze business requirements related to payments.
- Map customer requirements to the capabilities of the TCS BaNCS payments product.
- Oversee the implementation of TCS BaNCS solutions within customer environments.
- Partner with product development teams to review and validate new functionalities or enhancements in the payments product.
- Create innovative thought leadership content and develop differentiated solutions, such as leveraging AI in Payments.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrate TCS BaNCS solutions to clients and prospective customers.
- Monitor evolving regulatory and market standards in payments and translate these into actionable business requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive experience (5 to 15 years) in payments processing, covering both international and domestic clearing in the interbank payments domain (including systems such as RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, SWIFT, SEPA, CHIPS, FEDWIRE, BACS, NACH, NACHA, FPS, CHAPS, SIC, CBPR+).
- Strong proficiency and working knowledge of ISO 20022 payment standards is essential.
- Familiarity with different payment schemes including Real Time Payments, Credit Transfers, Bill Payments, and Direct Debits is required. Experience strictly limited to Credit or Debit card payments is not relevant for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex customer environments.
- Skilled in documenting business requirements and producing solution specification documents.
- Industry experience in payments processing within banks or payments processing product companies.
