Business Analyst

About the Role

This position is for a business analyst who can examine how the organization works, pinpoint opportunities to improve, and help teams make informed decisions using data. The role involves working with internal stakeholders to understand needs, document them clearly, and turn them into practical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business needs and convert them into well-defined requirements.
• Carry out research, map processes, and maintain workflow documentation.
• Spot gaps in systems or processes and suggest effective improvement ideas.
• Work with teams across functions to support project delivery and implementation.
• Develop management-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Track project results and check that outcomes support business objectives.
• Assist with data analysis and decision-making using relevant tools.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 2 to 4 years of experience in a business analyst or comparable role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are essential.
• Hands-on experience with requirement collection and documentation is needed.
• Working knowledge of data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau is expected.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders are important.
• The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with several priorities at once.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Agile or Scrum practices.
• Experience using process improvement approaches such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
• Strong ability to build presentations and write reports.
