Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our team at The Chocolate Bar, located in Salmiya. The ideal candidate will uphold our brand standards by delivering prompt, courteous service and high-quality beverages in a friendly, clean, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks in accordance with customer or waiter orders, ensuring service within standard timeframes.
• Follow Chocolate Bar recipes and standards meticulously for beverage preparation while adhering to health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
• Notify the manager immediately about any out-of-stock (86) items.
• Provide coverage and support across operations as directed by branch or floor managers to ensure smooth functioning.
• Prepare garnishes as required, always referring to preparation recipes during the process.
• Wash, sterilize glassware, and maintain cleanliness of workstations, refrigerators, counters, and utensils.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively and functionally to facilitate efficient drink preparation and beverage promotion.
• Carry out opening and closing duties including thorough cleaning, labeling, floor maintenance, machine cleaning, and waste management.
• Maintain orderliness in display shelves and storage areas, ensuring professional presentation and proper stock rotation.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to management promptly.
• Assist with restocking and inventory replenishment at the beverage bar.
• Ensure beverages are presented attractively to enhance visual appeal.
• Respond positively and professionally to customer inquiries.
• Follow all operational policies and procedures relevant to your station.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by branch and floor managers.

Experience and Work Conditions

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Standard working hours are 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
