Overview

We are seeking motivated and adaptable bank staff to deliver administrative assistance within our Luton Adult Services Teams based in Luton. This role requires a minimum of two years' experience in an office environment and a NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or its equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as key holder, opening the building each morning.
  • Greet patients and visitors attending clinics or teams, overseeing sign-in and sign-out registers and directing or escorting them accordingly.
  • Update SystmOne ledger upon patient arrival to inform clinical teams.
  • Manage incoming post and parcels, date-stamping and notifying appropriate team members promptly.
  • Process all incoming referrals and patient correspondence following relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Review handover reports from security and cleaning contractors, reporting issues to Administration Support Lead or Business Administration Manager.
  • Supervise staff and visitor sign-in systems, escalating concerns to senior management.
  • Monitor clinical room bookings, generate weekly reports, and address room cancellations and usage.
  • Handle outgoing internal and external post as well as blood courier services.
  • Create and maintain the Luton Treatment Centre staff handbook, containing contractor information.
