Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of quality and visual appeal for bakery products including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is fully stocked and prepared for daily business operations.
• Properly label and price all merchandise in compliance with store guidelines.
• Follow strict food safety protocols such as temperature monitoring, product rotation, and adherence to expiration dates.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation procedures according to food handling standards.
• Execute procedures related to ordering, marking down, clearance sales, and product signage.
• Prepare bakery items accurately following thawing and baking instructions to maintain product quality.
• Secure bakery displays safely and correctly to prevent accidents or damage.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position starts at 18.30 CAD.
