Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various automation equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, or related fields and possess hands-on experience with robot programming, PLCs, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair automation technologies including robots, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and special purpose machinery.
  • Support in programming robots such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, EPSON, SODICK, and PANASONIC models.
  • Develop and help implement PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
  • Contribute to automation of manufacturing workflows using robotics and specialized equipment.
  • Assist with development and upkeep of Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
  • Assist in scheduling and carrying out preventive maintenance activities to guarantee equipment reliability.
  • Help manage spare parts inventory to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Implement strategies to prolong equipment life and ensure sustainability.
  • Participate in root cause analyses to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Support application of lean manufacturing practices to boost production efficiency.
