As one of the initial team members in Australia, this lead will contribute significantly to local operations and represent the company to partners and clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the grants pipeline globally, emphasizing Australian federal, state, and industry funding programs.
• Craft compelling, technically accurate grant applications, covering drafting, budgeting, compliance, and submission.
• Collaborate with external advisors to ensure front-end positioning aligns seamlessly with application content.
• Engage closely with physicists and engineers to accurately interpret and communicate technical information.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in writing and winning technical or R&D grants, demonstrating measurable success.
• Proven ability to manage the full grants process independently, including scheduling and compliance.
• Strong technical aptitude to discuss complex science and convert it into credible narratives.
• Legal right to work in Australia and willingness to be based in or relocate to Darwin.
• Comfortable operating solo in an early-stage environment, collaborating remotely with international teams.
