Role Overview
TR Chadha & Co LLP is hiring an Associate Civil Engineer in Ahmedabad for site audit and project compliance work across civil and infrastructure assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular audits at project sites for civil and infrastructure works.
- Check whether execution matches approved drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project timelines.
- Review workmanship, materials, and adherence to engineering quality standards.
- Spot site-level issues such as deviations, delays, risks, quality gaps, and operational bottlenecks.
- Compile audit findings into clear reports with observations and practical recommendations.
- Work with project teams and other stakeholders to review progress and understand on-ground challenges.
Skills and Functional Requirements
- Solid grasp of civil engineering concepts and construction methods.
- Exposure to road, rail, metro, or broader infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Capability to prepare structured reports and maintain documentation.
- Sharp observation skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and report preparation.
