Assistant Manager, Reinsurance Operations

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager in Reinsurance Operations is responsible for managing the ceded facultative and treaty reinsurance contracts purchased by the organization. This role ensures that all reinsurance transactions are processed accurately and punctually while maintaining full compliance with the company's internal reinsurance guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of reinsurance arrangements covering facultative and treaty agreements.
• Ensure precise and timely recording of all reinsurance transactions.
• Liaise and coordinate between multiple departments including Underwriting, Finance, Claims, IT, and Compliance, along with external parties such as brokers and reinsurers.
• Support the enhancement and management of the company’s Property and Casualty Reinsurance system.
• Maintain integration and connectivity between reinsurance systems and the financial accounting and reporting platforms.

Additional Information

This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE and requires full-time onsite presence. The role is pivotal in driving financial effectiveness through efficient reinsurance operations management involving cross-functional collaboration and system maintenance.
