Role Overview
The Assistant Manager for Performance & Planning will handle demand and delivery-fee planning, track plan-versus-actual performance across monthly, quarterly, and annual operating plans, and partner closely with product, supply, and operations teams. The role also involves identifying cost-efficient operating approaches through benefit analysis, scale evaluation, and business requirement review.
Planning Responsibilities
- Manage demand planning and delivery-fee planning activities.
- Prepare and monitor AOP, QOP, and MOP plans, and compare actual performance against them.
- Work with a basic understanding of stress management practices in the workplace.
- Coordinate closely with product, supply, and operations stakeholders.
- Recommend cost-effective operational approaches based on cost-benefit analysis, scale, and business needs.
Performance Responsibilities
- Perform detailed root-cause analysis for OPD and delivery-fee misses against plans.
- Apply strong analytical thinking to evaluate performance drivers.
- Identify gaps in the current process or system and suggest practical improvements.
Projects
- Independently lead projects alongside ongoing business-as-usual charters.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience creating similar channels in e-commerce or related industries is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL is essential.
- A fast-moving, problem-solving, and execution-focused mindset is important.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, mutually beneficial approach.
- Comfort working in dynamic environments with ambiguity and change.
- Data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making.
