Role Overview

This full-time position, based in Singapore with a hybrid work setup, seeks an Assistant Manager to spearhead the planning and execution of flagship conferences and events for the Institute. This role plays a crucial part in strengthening the Institute's reputation as the preferred partner within the internal audit sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and management of various events including conferences and webinars, ensuring seamless execution from initial concept to post-event analysis.
  • Assist in sponsorship initiatives by identifying prospects, preparing relevant sponsorship documents, and collaborating with sponsors to fulfill agreements.
  • Create and oversee the production of event marketing collateral such as brochures, sponsorship presentations, and electronic direct mails.
  • Help develop and coordinate communication materials distributed via email campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to maintain consistent messaging and marketing outreach.
  • Regularly update and manage content on the website and other digital platforms to keep information current and engaging.
  • Monitor event budgets, track spending, and aid in preparing financial reports related to events.
  • Contribute to other projects and organizational tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of experience in event management or a similar function, with a strong track record in end-to-end event execution.
  • Experience handling both physical and virtual event formats.
  • Basic knowledge of website content management; proficiency in HTML is advantageous but optional.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is beneficial.
  • Experience with social media platforms and online community engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
