Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer skilled in supplier management, product development, and price negotiations. Candidates with experience in categories such as outerwear, dresses, tops, or bottoms are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Buying team with pricing strategies and product development efforts.
• Coordinate design overviews and generate weekly product summaries for various sales platforms.
• Support Buying Allocation Authority (BAA) management and associated priorities.
• Manage a specific product category with guidance from the Buyer.
• Analyze weekly trade reports to identify necessary actions.
• Conduct regular competitor shops to discover new and missed range opportunities.
• Collaborate with factories to maintain critical path schedules.
• Participate in weekly fit sessions with Quality Control and Design teams to ensure optimal fit and quality.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Previous buying experience in the fashion sector at a comparable level.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with Merchandising, Design, QC, and Studio teams.
• Commercial acumen to interpret market trends and align with customer preferences for maximizing sales.
• A genuine passion for fashion and trend awareness.
• Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive attitude with a strong sense of initiative.
