Overview
Join the Transfer Agency / Alternative Investment Services team at a leading global financial institution based in Dublin. This role focuses on safeguarding alternative investment funds through comprehensive investor onboarding alongside rigorous AML/KYC assessments adhering to diverse regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions including Luxembourg, Ireland, Cayman Islands, and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete AML/KYC onboarding process for investors and intermediaries including periodic refreshes, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Evaluate documentation rigorously while conducting sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), and adverse media screening consistent with company policies.
- Navigate and apply AML and Counter-Terrorist Financing regulations relevant to various fund domiciles and escalate high-risk cases appropriately.
- Collaborate effectively with Compliance, Risk teams, and relevant fund stakeholders, including Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs), to reconcile exceptions and drive resolution.
- Serve as a liaison for clients and internal teams, maintaining up-to-date communications, tracking tools, and mailbox management.
- Support audit, testing, and quality assurance processes by providing evidence and suggesting process improvements to enhance controls.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of relevant experience in AML/KYC onboarding, investor due diligence, transfer agency, or related control functions.
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF regulations across multiple fund jurisdictions.
- Excellent judgement, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client and stakeholder engagement.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with alternative investment funds and multi-jurisdictional intermediary frameworks.
- Proficient in supporting audits and responding to evidence requests.
- Developing subject matter expertise to guide peers and share best practices.
