Role Overview
This part-time, on-site Administrative Support position in Dunedin involves providing daily office and customer service assistance to support roofing operations. Duties include managing phone and email communications, welcoming visitors, organizing appointments, and coordinating job scheduling and site visits. The role requires record keeping, basic accounting support like invoicing and data entry, and assisting with document management related to projects. Regular interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal team members ensures accurate information exchange and prompt follow-up. Additional responsibilities include general office tasks such as filing, ordering supplies, and aiding with health and safety documentation as necessary.
Qualifications
- Excellent phone manners and customer service abilities for handling inquiries and supporting clients.
- Experience with administrative duties, including scheduling, record management, and office organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers, suppliers, and staff.
- Competency with office software like email, spreadsheets, and word processing, along with adaptability to new systems.
