Accounts Receivable (AR) Caller

About the Role

This position involves managing communications related to Accounts Receivable within the Revenue Cycle Management and Medical Billing sector at Integra Global Solutions Corp in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role requires working night shifts and is based onsite at the company's office in Palsun Tower, Tatabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to follow up on unpaid or denied medical claims.
• Evaluate the status of claims, determine necessary actions to resolve pending payments.
• Investigate denial reasons and manage re-submissions or dispute processes for denied claims.
• Ensure meticulous logging of all call interactions and billing details into the medical billing systems.
• Address discrepancies in payments or underpayments by following up thoroughly.
• Achieve set daily targets for productivity and quality in handling AR calls.
• Escalate complicated issues to supervisors when needed to ensure resolution.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills tailored to US insurance call handling.
• Solid understanding of medical billing procedures and revenue cycle management processes.
• Experience with denial management strategies and accounts receivable follow-ups.
• Competency with basic computer applications including MS Excel and billing software.
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Graduation in any field preferred, ideally healthcare or commerce-related.
• Between 1.5 and 3 years of professional experience in AR calling or medical billing roles.
