Role Overview
We seek a meticulous Accountant to oversee daily bookkeeping, financial procedures related to e-commerce, and packaging coordination within our trading enterprise. The candidate should be experienced in using Busy accounting software, understand marketplace seller interfaces such as Flipkart, Meesho, and Amazon, and be adept at managing packaging tasks.
Key Duties
- Maintain detailed accounting records using Busy Accounting Software, including entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
- Reconcile payments and settlement details from Flipkart, Meesho, and Amazon seller platforms.
- Monitor marketplace commissions, returns, and deductions routinely.
- Prepare GST documentation and assist with monthly GST filings.
- Manage purchase and sales invoices and keep updated records of vendors and customers.
- Perform TDS entries and support basic tax compliance activities.
- Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports for internal review.
- Collaborate with operations on packaging requirements such as box sizing, labeling, and dispatch documentation.
- Maintain inventory records and track costs related to packaging materials.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient user of Busy Accounting Software (essential).
- Familiar with Flipkart Seller Hub, Meesho Supplier Panel, and Amazon Seller Central, specifically with payment reconciliation and report handling.
- Knowledgeable about e-commerce packaging standards including box dimensions, weight, and labeling norms.
- Understanding of GST invoicing processes and compliance.
- Skilled in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented and able to adhere to deadlines effectively.
Additional Information
Eligibility: Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant accounting experience with a preference for individuals holding degrees such as B.Com, M.Com, or any commerce-related graduate qualification. Immediate or early joining availability is favored.
Compensation and Benefits
- Fixed monthly salary with performance-based bonuses.
- Work schedule consists of six working days per week.
