Accountant

About the Role

Transmed is seeking a committed and detail-focused Accountant Intern to join our Finance department in Dubai. This position provides a valuable chance to gain hands-on experience in managing accounts receivable, credit control processes, customer account oversight, and financial reporting within a vibrant corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review customer accounts and outstanding balances to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the collection process by engaging with customers regarding overdue payments in a professional manner.
• Prepare customer account statements and analyze aging reports for financial consistency.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate any discrepancies in payments.
• Accurately process and allocate incoming payments from customers.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial documentation and customer records.
• Contribute to the preparation of credit control reports and monitor performance indicators.
• Support month-end closure procedures related to accounts receivable functions.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve any account-related inquiries.
• Carry out additional administrative and finance duties as required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Proficient at an intermediate level in Microsoft Excel.
