Overview
This position entails acting as a trusted advisor for strategic clients by aiding them in accomplishing their business objectives through digital transformation powered by Microsoft technologies. The role involves fostering executive-level relationships, crafting long-term account plans, and steering cross-functional teams for delivering business value and boosting revenue.
A comprehensive knowledge of the client’s industry, challenges, and digital transformation priorities is necessary. Utilizing Microsoft’s product offerings and partner ecosystem, the professional identifies modernization and innovation opportunities while promoting technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities
- Expand the network of internal and external partners related to assigned accounts to ensure effective task execution and account transactions. Collaborate with partners to enhance sales impact and jointly develop customer-focused transformation strategies.
- Proactively anticipate developments and potential risks in assigned accounts, prioritize actions based on client needs and opportunity potential, and coordinate with account teams to adjust priorities responsively.
- Strategically plan for assigned customer accounts by setting priorities and allocating account management resources, involving senior leadership and partners to transform enterprise accounts into strategic ones.
- Create and manage account plans following Microsoft sales methodologies, ensuring revenue goals and customer business objectives are achieved through leadership of extended teams and partners.
- Build and sustain executive and decision-maker relationships within customer organizations through consultative engagement, developing a rhythm of business that highlights Microsoft solution value and ROI, and support joint-selling initiatives including entry into new markets.
- Gain a deep understanding of each customer's business model, industry, and technology priorities to identify and propose solutions that foster optimization and growth.
- Lead strategic technology direction and digital transformation efforts within assigned accounts, mitigating competitive risks and capturing business wins for future referencing.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Microsoft product landscapes, industry trends, and customer business strategies, collaborating with internal industry specialists to enhance account plans.
- Lead coordination of virtual teams and stakeholders to expand account relationships using effective sales and communication strategies, developing detailed stakeholder maps.
- Continuously seek customer feedback to identify satisfaction drivers and address issues proactively, working with internal teams to ensure positive customer experiences and establish success measures.
- Develop compelling value propositions and customized business plans to drive new business opportunities and upsell existing customers.
- Execute strategies for stakeholder engagement, fostering upselling, cross-selling, and increased consumption of Microsoft solutions, employing established sales methodologies.
- Educate assigned account decision makers on Microsoft's competitive advantages and align solutions with customer KPIs and industry needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Master's in Business Administration with 2+ years in relevant industries or driving digital transformation; OR Bachelor's in Business, Technology, or related discipline with 3+ years in similar experience; OR equivalent background.
- Preferred: Master's in Business Administration with 6+ years in industry-related roles or digital transformation; OR Bachelor's degree with 8+ years related experience; plus 3+ years account management experience or equivalent.
