Overview
The Wellness Supervisor position at Trinchera Reserve & Lodge in Fort Garland, CO, is a full-time, year-round role starting July 2026. The incumbent plays a key role in overseeing the wellness program, managing massage therapy rooms, fitness facilities, and outdoor spa amenities while ensuring an outstanding guest experience. A massage therapy license is mandatory. The supervisor ensures high service quality, operational efficiency, achievement of financial goals, and fosters a safe, healthy, and innovative environment promoting holistic wellness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of wellness amenities, including fitness areas, massage treatment rooms, and outdoor spa features such as hot tubs, cold plunge pools, and sauna.
- Maintain brand standards by ensuring all treatments, classes, and wellness sessions meet quality expectations.
- Provide hands-on guest massage services or coordinate scheduling, bookings, and staff rosters.
- Address guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Uphold a calm, safe, and professional environment within all wellness facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams — including Restaurant & Bar, Guest Relations, Spa/Fitness, HR, Reservations, Landscaping, Maintenance, and Finance — and external partners like travel providers, tour guides, local artisans, wellness experts, and service vendors to enhance guest experiences.
- Develop and implement training programs to reinforce service excellence, wellness techniques, and safety protocols.
- Monitor and enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance standards for treatment rooms, fitness equipment, and wet areas.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Massage therapy license valid in the State of Colorado, with current MBLEx certification and licensure on file with the Division of Professions and Occupations.
- Certification in group yoga instruction, preferably a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred in hospitality management, tourism, spa management, sports science, physiotherapy, or related disciplines.
- Additional certifications related to wellness, holistic therapies, fitness coaching, or spa management are advantageous.
- Between 2 and 5 years of management experience in spa, fitness, or wellness environments.
- Proven track record of managing service-focused teams and familiarity with sales, budgeting, and operational management.

Working Conditions and Terms
- Standard working hours total approximately 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Employment contingent upon successful reference checks, employment and education verification, and a criminal background check.
- Competitive annual gross salary of $70,000.
