Job Overview

We are seeking a Waiter for Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment to deliver outstanding food and beverage service to guests at VOX Cinemas, ensuring hospitable and memorable cinema experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and create a friendly atmosphere.
• Present menus and assist customers in selecting their orders.
• Accurately take food and drink orders and input them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Ensure tables are appropriately prepared, cleaned, and maintained before and after service.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and current promotions.
• Encourage upselling of food and beverage items to boost revenue.
• Address guest questions, feedback, and complaints professionally and courteously.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely and correct order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the service areas.
• Comply with all hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
• Support stock rotation, restocking, and inventory management as required.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods and special events.
• Follow VOX Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment’s service standards and policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least two years of experience in food and beverage or hospitality, preferably in cinema or restaurant settings.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strict adherence to hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards at all times.
