- Create 3–5 short reels per project, optimized for social media platforms.
- Perform tasks such as syncing audio, color correction, applying LUTs, transitions, and sound design as needed to enhance the final output.
- Ensure the editing aligns with project briefs and brand tone, incorporating feedback from internal and client reviews.
- Deliver final videos in required formats including 1080p, 4K, and vertical orientations.
- Maintain organized workflows by following file naming protocols and folder hierarchy using Google Drive or WorkDrive.
- Work only with properly labeled footage managed by the data team and upload initial cuts for internal review through Frame.io or Drive.
- Update editing status regularly in Zoho Projects using designated trackers (e.g., Pending, Review, Final).
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and other editors to ensure consistent package delivery and participate in weekly post-production meetings addressing project statuses, issues, and timelines.
- Proactively communicate any risks of delays to manage timelines effectively.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve; familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- A well-developed sense of rhythm, narrative storytelling, and pacing, particularly related to cinematic wedding films.
- Understanding of various technical aspects including frame rates, codecs, proxies, and output format specifications.
- Knowledge of LUTs, transitions, and basic After Effects usage is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional experience working on wedding films, event edits, or branded video content.
- Academic background in filmmaking, media production, or related disciplines is advantageous.
