Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Valeter to join our Renault/Dacia/Alpine branch based in Hillington, Glasgow. This role involves ensuring all vehicles are impeccably cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Working Hours

Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5:30pm, Friday from 8am to 4:30pm, and alternate Saturdays from 8am to 12pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean both sold and stock vehicles to an exceptional standard
• Use high-powered pressure washers for external cleaning
• Vacuum and shampoo interior vehicle surfaces using powerful equipment
• Polish and buff vehicle bodywork with specialized machines
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, especially when handling chemicals
• Maintain and secure all machinery and equipment, reporting defects promptly and following manufacturer and PPE guidelines
• Work within designated timeframes and meet set targets
• Manage vehicle schedules through an online diary system
• Complete daily logs detailing completed tasks
• Assist with other duties as needed to support branch operations

Requirements and Qualifications

• Possession of a full UK driving licence
• Basic proficiency in computer use
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Self-driven and capable of effective teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Readiness to engage in training programs
• Previous valet experience is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training, including attendance at the Valet Academy, will be provided for motivated candidates
