Their platform integrates deep domain-specific AI to assist repair shops with estimating, parts intelligence, and advisory functions, built by experts familiar with the industry's workflows.

Role Purpose

As Clear21 expands into new markets and technologies, they are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join their design team under the leadership of the Lead UX/UI Designer. The successful candidate will contribute to the product suite’s design, having significant influence over feature development and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for both web and mobile products based on briefs.
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams including product managers, business analysts, developers, and testers to clarify requirements and iteratively improve solutions.
• Manage the full UX/UI design life cycle from concept through to final delivery and stakeholder presentation.
• Support developers during implementation by providing comprehensive design assets, discussing handoff details, and ensuring quality execution.
• Contribute to user research or usability testing to validate design choices when necessary.
• Maintain and enhance the existing design system and UI standards to ensure consistent and scalable design across products.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Between 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for crafting high-fidelity designs and basic prototypes.
• Experienced with design systems and utilizing existing component libraries.
• Strong user-centered design mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Highly organised and capable of managing competing priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic technical knowledge of design implementation and feasibility assessment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools like Claude Design.
• Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Background working in dynamic startup or scale-up environments.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML/CSS.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Graphic design skills for applications including marketing materials and iconography.

Additional Details and Benefits

• This role is primarily based onsite at the Mulgrave office, three days a week, located near Melbourne's automotive industry offices.
