Transport Planner

About the Role

Centurion is seeking a seasoned Transport Planner to join the dynamic Transport Operations team located at Perth Airport, Western Australia. This full-time position involves managing daily driver and Prime Mover scheduling, allocations, and operational updates while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in regional transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day scheduling and allocation for Drivers and Prime Movers within the Transport Operations team.
• Assist in both short-term and long-term operational planning to maintain service coverage across multiple sites.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to upkeep a safe and compliant fleet.
• Maintain accurate operational records and monitor driver hours, fatigue, and truck availability.
• Collaborate closely with Scheduling teams to adapt to operational changes and guarantee uninterrupted service.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in Transport Operations, Allocation, Scheduling, or Logistics roles.
• In-depth understanding of Commercial Driver Fatigue Guidelines and transport compliance regulations.
• Competency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and relevant planning or scheduling software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• High level of attention to detail, especially under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
