Role Summary

This role requires a technically proficient and detail-focused Business Analyst with 5 to 8 years of experience to collaborate closely with business and engineering stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating between teams, and supporting technology initiatives primarily using Microsoft Azure services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and define acceptance criteria.
• Create visual representations including flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, high-level architecture, and data flow diagrams.
• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Grooming sessions, and Reviews.
• Assist QA and UAT teams by validating requirements and ensuring proper test coverage.
• Conduct impact and gap analyses for proposed enhancements.
• Write fundamental SQL queries for data validation and generate reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on Azure-based implementation and deployment activities.
• Support API discussions, system integrations, and data mapping efforts.

Technical Expertise Required

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure components including Azure Function Apps, Blob Storage, and App Services.
• Basic understanding of cloud architecture and application workflows.
• Proficiency in developing various diagrams such as Process Flow, Swim Lane, Architecture, and Data Flow diagrams using tools like Lucidchart or Draw.io.
• Hands-on basic SQL skills including query writing, joins, and data validation.
• Knowledge of API functionalities and integration processes.
• Experience using Agile project tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Desirable Skills

• Prior exposure to travel, e-commerce, or digital platform domains.
• Familiarity with Redis, caching, and cloud deployment concepts.
• Experience in release management and production support workflows.
