Systems Administrator - Amaravati Campus

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to oversee and optimize our institutional IT infrastructure at the Amaravati campus. The successful candidate will be in charge of deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading server and network systems ensuring their security, reliability, and peak performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or closely related disciplines (e.g., B.E., B.Tech, M.Sc. IT, B.Sc. IT).
• Applicants with a Diploma in Computer Engineering or IT and substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
• Professional certifications such as RHCE, MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, VMware Certified Professional, or cloud certifications like AWS, Azure, or GCP are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise-grade IT infrastructure on-premises.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain servers and network systems to guarantee availability and stable performance.
• Ensure security protocols are maintained across all infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently and collaboratively.
• Contribute positively to a service-oriented team environment.
• Prior experience in academic or research institutions is highly valued.

Additional Information

• This is a non-teaching role within the institution.
