About the Role
Wilson James is seeking a System Administrator to join the team at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. This permanent position involves supporting on-site distribution of construction materials by managing Fulcrum and the third-party Asset Tagz software. The role reports to the Scheduling Manager and demands technical expertise in software and hardware to sustain operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Fulcrum and Asset Tagz software systems.
- Oversee the Wilson James helpdesk operations specific to Hinkley Point C.
- Ensure the reliability and uptime of deployed hardware systems on site.
- Deliver system availability KPIs consistently.
- Conduct system user training via the MyLearn platform.
- Maintain compliance with Wilson James cybersecurity policies.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans aligned with operational goals.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Completion of the CITB Operative Health & Safety test prior to starting.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Transport and Delivery Management Systems, with reporting capabilities.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar management portals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
Desirable:
- Background in software development.
- Familiarity with Power BI dashboards.
Site-Specific Information
- Must provide a three-year history of employment, unemployment, or education for vetting per HPC protocols.
- Ability to obtain the Hinkley Point C (HPC) security pass is required.
- The site is remote, accessible by a 45-minute bus journey each way.

- Starting annual salary from £29,000, contingent on experience.
