Superflex Roadside Patrol Mechanic - Newcastle

Role Overview

Become a valued member of RAC as a Superflex Roadside Mechanic, offering adaptable roadside assistance that reflects our commitment to flexibility and reliability.

Work Details

You will typically work around 40 hours weekly on average, with your schedule provided seven days in advance and your core hours confirmed three days prior. Shifts will range between 06:00 and 02:00 and may involve early starts, late finishes, weekends, and holidays.

Based within the Newcastle cluster, your coverage area includes Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Shields, South Shields, Wallsend, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Cramlington, and Morpeth. Work is organized locally so you start and finish your day at home, concentrating on assisting members in your vicinity.

Qualifications and Experience

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance plus a minimum of two years experience, OR
• At least five years experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic
• A valid UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points
