Role overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Solution Architect who can shape end-to-end technology solutions, connect technical direction with business priorities, and support engineering teams in building dependable architectures. The role suits someone who can operate across enterprise and product-focused settings while balancing design quality, scalability, and collaboration.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is ₹20,00,000 to ₹25,00,000 per year.

Location

The role is based in Surat, Gujarat, and follows a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and high-performance architectures that match business goals.
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure technical plans support broader business objectives and project delivery.
• Support engineering teams by setting architectural direction and promoting best practices.
• Assess technology options and suggest modern stacks that are relevant and future-ready.
• Prepare and keep detailed architecture documents, standards, and supporting references up to date.
• Partner with product managers, developers, and other collaborators to maintain clear alignment around architectural choices.

Experience and background

The employer is looking for someone with at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2 or more years in an architecture-focused position. The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise architecture, along with practical exposure to enterprise application integration.

Technical requirements

• Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Working knowledge of caching platforms such as Redis.
• Exposure to messaging or queueing technologies like RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, or Service Bus.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed system design.
• Comfort with both SQL and NoSQL databases as well as modern backend or application frameworks.
• Knowledge of how to improve scalability, security, reliability, and performance.
• Awareness of security architecture, authentication, authorization, and OWASP-aligned practices.

Professional strengths

• Ability to break down business challenges and convert them into practical technical solutions.
• Sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Capability to manage several architecture efforts or projects at the same time.

Preferred background

• Certifications in TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or solution architecture are considered an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus good interpersonal ability, will be valuable in this role.
