Following the successful launch of our listen.setmixer.com platform in July, we have experienced rapid growth in our archive and listener base. Our team consists of individuals with expertise in major music streaming platforms, venue management, and a passion for music, aiming to bridge the gap between live performances and fans.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Social Media & Content Creator to drive our brand presence and engagement with artists and venues. This role offers extensive opportunities for professional growth and involves more than just social media posting; you will contribute to strategic marketing planning, campaign development, and brand enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain an authentic and consistent voice across social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn on a daily basis.
• Promote our platform by regularly highlighting the latest music and live sets on listen.setmixer.com.
• Lead content creation and design efforts using Canva, ensuring high-quality visual materials that reflect the brand’s aesthetic.
• Communicate company updates, new venue partnerships, and technological advancements to the community.
• Attend live gigs at partner venues to document events through photography, videos, and interviews that capture the unique, unfiltered energy of our brand, including showcasing elements like tour posters and setlists.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated design skills with a portfolio showcasing professional and engaging social media graphics.
• Proficient and efficient in Canva, capable of creating visuals that align with the Setmixer brand.
• Strong interest in understanding how social media integrates within broader marketing and growth strategies.
• Deep appreciation for grassroots music and a commitment to supporting emerging artists.

Compensation

This position offers the London Living Wage at £14.80 per hour.

As Setmixer currently lacks a formal marketing team, this role grants significant autonomy and the chance to influence wider marketing initiatives. Applicants are encouraged to submit a sample Canva design—a social media post (Instagram Story or Grid)—announcing an artist’s new live set to demonstrate their vision for the brand.
