Overview
Join The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as a Social Media & Events Activator, where you will help deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests, from their first social media interaction through their stay at our hotel in Doha, Qatar. This position plays a key role in building brand awareness and guest engagement by leveraging knowledge of the local market and meaningful venues. You will be the primary liaison for organizing memorable hotel events, delivering confidence and ease throughout the event planning and execution process.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content tailored to local interests and venues.
- Foster brand recognition and guest connection via online conversations, strategic partnerships, and unique events.
- Serve as the main contact for managing and coordinating successful hotel events.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain a safe, high-quality work environment.
- Perform physically active tasks, including lifting and moving objects under 25 pounds, reaching high places, bending, and standing for extended periods as required to support events and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a related field.
- Preferred experience in writing, journalism, photo editing, and proofreading.
- A strong interest and knowledge of travel and lifestyle sectors is valued.
- In-depth understanding of online marketing strategies, emerging technologies, and social media best practices.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No licenses or certifications needed.
