Company Overview
Molloy Precast & Environmental Systems specializes in manufacturing reliable on-site wastewater treatment plants, sewage pumping stations, precast concrete tanks, general precast products, paving, and related items for homes, businesses, and large-scale developments.
Role Description
We seek a hands-on skilled factory operative to join our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing various precast concrete products and assembling wastewater treatment systems, while ensuring quality, safety, and efficient storage and dispatch of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up moulds including steel reinforcement and pour concrete; demould finished products once cured.
- Transport items using forklifts and overhead cranes to designated storage areas.
- Assemble mechanical parts and complete fit-outs of precast concrete tanks tailored to customer specifications.
- Support health & safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and the production team to meet daily targets.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, precast concrete production, or construction environments is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency operating forklifts, general machinery, and various tools.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Good problem-solving abilities to address production challenges.
Desirable Skills
- Skills in carpentry, steel fixing, or welding are advantageous but not essential.
- Valid and current training certifications such as SafePass, first aid, forklift operation, manual handling, or abrasive wheel safety; required training will be provided to successful candidates.
