Overview
At Papa John's, we value the uniqueness each team member brings, which strengthens our team and sets us apart. We are looking for a Shift Leader to oversee shifts and work areas in our restaurant located in St Peters, Prince Edward Island, to ensure top-quality products and exceptional customer service contributing to the restaurant's profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Strictly follow standards and procedures for each station, including dough handling, accuracy, and portioning; prepare quality products and maintain proper holding times.
- Consistently work towards achieving company product goals while minimizing customer complaints and responding effectively to customer needs.
- Comply with all operational policies such as image standards, attendance, safety, and security outlined in the team member handbook.
- Embody company core values, maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, and adapt flexibly to changes.
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage during shifts; provide immediate constructive feedback to address issues.
- Maintain product quality, customer service, and operational performance benchmarks including food and labor costs, cleanliness, and readiness standards.
- Support profit goals by adhering to company guidelines, utilizing the FOCUS System to manage cash, and helping manage inventory levels to reduce losses.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Food service certification such as Serv-Safe or local/state equivalent is desirable.
- Previous experience as a restaurant shift leader is advantageous.
- Stable and successful employment history.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Ability to work extended hours (generally 32+ hours weekly), including nights, weekends, and emergency shifts.
- Capability to perform duties across all restaurant positions as required.
