About the Role
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, build, configure, and maintain comprehensive ServiceNow solutions within an enterprise setting. This position involves collaborating with business leaders, architects, and IT specialists to create scalable and efficient ServiceNow applications, platform extensions, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and develop the ServiceNow platform tailored to business needs.
- Architect and implement workflows, user interfaces, UI policies, business rules, client-side scripts, and service catalog components.
- Create and sustain integrations via REST, SOAP, JSON, and other web-based services.
- Manage MID Server setups relating to Discovery and various integrations.
- Deploy and maintain integrations including LDAP, Single Sign-On (SAML/OAuth), and SCCM.
- Conduct ServiceNow environment upgrades, cloning processes, troubleshooting, and enhance system performance.
- Oversee Configuration Management Database (CMDB) upkeep and contribute to Asset Management projects.
- Work alongside cross-disciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable ServiceNow platforms.
- Generate technical documentation and ensure ongoing platform maintenance and support.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical ServiceNow development experience.
- Proficiency in coding languages including JavaScript, JSON, XML, and HTML.
- Expertise in integration development using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and JSON.
- Practical knowledge with LDAP, SSO (SAML/OAuth), SCCM integrations, and MID Server configuration.
- Skillful in AngularJS, AJAX, and Apache Jelly technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and knack for troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
ServiceNow Modules Experience
- IT Service Management: Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
- IT Operations Management: Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Other Modules: CMDB, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Administration Tasks: Instance upgrades and cloning, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent certification in implementations.
- Experience within enterprise-level organizations.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
