Role overview
Alberta Health Services is hiring a Service Worker I to support day-to-day hospital operations at Red Deer Regional Hospital. This role focuses on moving patients, equipment, supplies, and essential materials across care areas while helping maintain clean, well-stocked, and safe units.
Key duties
- Move patients, clients, or residents, along with equipment, between different patient care areas within the hospital.
- Deliver hospital supplies to units and restock items as needed.
- Clean equipment and patient care areas according to direction.
- Transport laboratory specimens, blood, blood products, and patient charts when required.
- Raise supply shortages or safety concerns with the Unit Manager.
- Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
