Job description
Role Overview
Fro Tech Services is seeking a Senior Technician to support Industrial Automation projects at Water Treatment Plants in Mumbai, particularly Borivali West. This full-time position involves primarily fieldwork across various project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical wiring and installations including panel wiring and cable connections.
- Carry out cable laying, cutting, dressing, and termination tasks.
- Install motors, pumps, sensors, and valves as required on site.
- Assist engineers during PLC, SCADA, and other automation-related activities.
- Conduct basic electrical fault diagnosis and repair work.
- Engage in mechanical fitting, installation, basic welding, and fabrication duties.
- Operate tools for drilling, cutting, grinding, and equipment fixing.
- Install cable trays, supports, brackets, and instrumentation devices.
- Support testing and commissioning processes for treatment plants.
- Comply with safety protocols at all project locations and travel to various sites as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as Electrician, Electrical Technician, Fitter, Welder, Maintenance Technician, Plant Technician, or Automation Technician.
- Preference for candidates capable of handling electrical tasks, fitting, and welding.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter, Electronics, or related engineering disciplines.
- Between 1 and 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and proficiency in using standard tools.
- Open to working on project sites with willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in Water Treatment, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), or Industrial Automation is advantageous.
Additional Information
This position is not limited to office work; extensive onsite activity at industrial and water treatment locations is expected. Candidates holding a valid passport may have the opportunity for overseas assignments.
Headquarters are located in Borivali West, Mumbai with multiple project sites.
