Senior Solution Architect - AI / Deep Tech / Infrastructure

About the Role

A leading European deep-tech firm specializing in transformative AI technologies is expanding its pre-sales team in Doha, Qatar. Known for revolutionary compression of large language models that reduces size by up to 95% and decreases inference expenses by 50–80%, the company seeks a Senior Solution Architect to design and support AI-driven solutions targeting major sectors such as finance, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, and industrials.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert during engagements with clients and partners, independently conducting detailed product demonstrations and managing the creation of technical proposals, requests for proposals (RFPs), and tender documents.
• Architect comprehensive AI and machine learning solutions encompassing cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and sovereign deployment environments.
• Provide technical consultation by translating advanced AI, large language model (LLM), and quantum-inspired technologies into practical, value-based architectures understandable by both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively with sales and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately reflected and delivery capabilities are aligned with proposed designs.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Solid background in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or implementation consulting roles with substantial exposure to enterprise customers.
• Expertise with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with AI/ML services such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, and AzureML. Experience in sizing GPU infrastructure for LLM inference or training, including memory, throughput, and hardware tiers (A10 to H200).
• Knowledge of MLOps frameworks (Kubeflow, Flyte, MLflow, CI/CD pipelines) and proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for deploying AI workloads.
• Understanding of LLM inference stacks (vLLM, llama.cpp, OpenVINO), model delivery formats (ONNX, Hugging Face), and expertise in benchmarking model performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and accuracy.
• Proficient coding skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with machine learning libraries including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Legal authorization to work in Qatar and willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and industry events.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Experience with multi-modal AI technologies such as Computer Vision, Speech analysis, and Vision-Language models.
• Hands-on experience in designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, multi-agent AI systems, and model optimization or quantization techniques.
• Background in designing big data architectures including both batch and streaming processing systems.
• Understanding of data privacy, ethical AI principles, and regulatory compliance standards.
